Ski Lift Media’s transparent tubes are injection manufactured in Canada from tough, UV protected polycarbonate. They are sealed to withstand extreme weather and built to resist all but the most vicious vandalism attempts. Quad chairs typically host two or three tubes each, while triple and double chairs normally accommodate one or two tubes.
Each tube holds a color, plastic laminated sheet 6.75 inch (17 cm) long by 1.75 inch (4.5 cm). In most cases one ad fills the entire sheet, although half sheet ads can be effective.

Tubes can be installed anytime, although most ski areas affixed them to chairlift safety bars in the fall where they remain in place for the entire ski season. In the vast majority of cases, no maintenance is required. Tubes have a two or three year lifespan (longer at some ski areas), but we suggest rotating and replacing half the tube annually at the same time as current season advertising sheets are installed.
